Ruben van Lith has almost won the MON Inters Quads title.
Ruben van Lith did good business with the quads inters during the MON 24 MX national motocross in Mill. Van Lith won both heats in a very poorly occupied starting field and is 201 points ahead of Rob Aarts with two races to go. Valentino Roks was the only other participant in this class and naturally finished second in the daily rankings. In the quads nationals the victory went to Gymano Besems with a second and first place in the heats. Daan van Rijswijck was able to take the second step of the podium with a third and fifth place in the heats. Tim van Wee took the last place on the podium.
First heat
Van Lith was the fastest at the start. However, he was quickly passed by Roks. Van Lith put pressure on Roks and waited for his chance. In the third he passed Roks again and quickly opened up a gap. Roks tried to come back, but fell and left the match in the sixth round with an injury.
In the nationals, Jamie Lommers quickly took the lead and crossed the finish line first by a wide margin. Besems passed van Rijswijck on the seventh lap and finished second. Van Rijswijck had a lot of problems with the grip of his quad and had to be satisfied with third place.
Second heat
Roks did not start again due to his fall in the first moto, meaning that any form of resistance for van Lith disappeared. He was able to add 60 points again and will most likely win the title on October 14 in Heeswijk.
In the nationals it was Besems again who won the heat by a wide margin. In this heat it was Mark van der Sanden who managed to claim second place. Femke Karper now crossed the finish line in third place.
