Mike Keuben / Lars de Laat strongest in Kersbeek.
Mike Keuben/Lars de Laat have won the IMBA sidecar competition in Kersbeek, Belgium. The Dutch duo managed to win all three heats and thus reduced their deficit in the European Championship standings to 26 points. Second in the daily rankings was Frank Mulders. Due to an injury to Henry van de Wiel, brand new world champion Ben van den Bogaart went to jail for this match. They achieved a third and twice second place in the heats. The last place on the podium went to the Swiss Marco Boller/Marius Strauss with a second, third and fourth place in the heats. They also remain third in the European Championship standings.
The British combination Tony Grahame/Harley Lloyd fell just outside the podium in fourth place. This result now puts them in fifth place in the European Championship standings. This is at the expense of their compatriots Sam Osbaldiston/Cooper who only scored 16 points on the day.
The best Belgian combination was Nick Jenssens / Jens Mans. With a fifth, fourth and eighth place in the heats, they finished fifth in the overall standings.
