HOT NEWS: Jorge Prado is world champion!!
The difference between Jorge Prado, the World Championship leader in MX2, and Pauls Jonass is currently 46 points. Yet Prado already knows that he can call himself world champion! After all, his rival Jonass will not be in action in Imola...
The reigning world champion only announced that he was severely hampered by his knee injury after his fall in Turkey. Although the pain tried to subside in Assen, he decided to have the operation anyway. That procedure took place yesterday.
“Of course, I won't be driving in Imola this weekend. I hate to disappoint fans, but if I want to do what I love to do, a healthy set of legs comes in handy 😉 Thank you so much for all the kind words, we will be back in 2019,” Jonass said on his Instagram account. The MXMag editorial team wishes Pauls the best of recovery and congratulates the fantastic new MX2 World Champion Jorge Prado!
