Not a flawless debut for Dave Kooiker.
Made yesterday Dave Kooiker his 125cc debut Arnhem during the ninth game of the KNMV Open Dutch Youth Championship. After finishing fourth at the FIM World Youth Championship in Australia, the YZ85 was replaced by a YZ125. The race day started well for the Yamaha rider who managed to claim a third place on the grid. However, the time training was not completed successfully because after a jump Kooiker got stuck in the mud, causing the bike to suddenly come to a standstill. He broke his forearm without falling!
