Anderson and Musquin face each other in Paris!
For many years, the Bercy Supercross has been the most important Supercross in Europe. After a renovation of the Palais Omnisport Paris Bercy the event would return after the trip to Lille. However, that did not happen, the event returned to Paris from Lille in Northern France. No longer in Bercy but to the 'U Arena' in the Parisian suburb of Nanterre.
The organization proudly reports that the match between Marvin Musquin and Jason Anderson (photo) will continue after the 'summer break'. The duo were in contention earlier this year for the AMA Supercross title which was won by the American. Xavier Audouard is also pleased to welcome Zach Osborne, Justin Brayton, Vince Friese, Tyler Bowers and Dylan Ferrandis to the French capital. We also see the great European specialists such as Thomas Ramette, Cedric Soubeyras and Greg Aranda.
The SX2 class will of course also be in action, the top twelve in the standings of the French Supercross Championship are assured of a starting place. In addition, four Wild Cards will be awarded, bringing the starting field to 16 riders. Brian Moreau Strubhart and Brian Hsu are already assured of a starting spot, two more Americans will be added!
There are still entrance tickets available from 66 Euro per day. Your tickets can be reserved via:
