Weston Peick will miss the finals of the AMA Nationals.
This weekend the finals of the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championship will be held in Crawfordsville. This 'Ironman National' will be held without Weston Peick. After Justin Bogle and Justin Hill, Joe Gibbs Racing's top driver was now injured. The Suzuki rider has been struggling with a hand injury all summer, but giving up is not an option. The last match is a bridge too far for Peick who will undergo surgery. He currently occupies sixth place in the standings. Phil Nicoletto and Benny Blose follow close behind in the title battle.
