Strong Swiss team for MX of Nations!
Switzerland also announced its team for the MX of Nations in Red Bud. It is hardly a surprise that the Swiss choose Jeremy Seewer, Valentin Guillod (MX2) and Arnaud Tonus. On paper this is a very strong team, although there are some snags.
The biggest question mark is of course Arnaud Tonus. The Wilvo-Yamaha rider has been out of action since mid-February with a shoulder injury. However, Tonus resumed motorcycle training last week. With just under 2 months until the Monster Energy Motocross of Nations, Arnaud should be fit in time.
In addition, the Swiss still face a budgetary problem. However, to send Team Switzerland to the US a crowdfunding campaign started. Fortunately, the first signs are positive, hopefully this campaign will reach the intended goal of 42.000 CHF, about 37.000 euros…
They already proved that the Swiss with their 'golden generation' are a dangerous outsider in Maggiora where they finished sixth, followed by a top 5 in Matterley Basin last year.
