Sherco Belgium has wind in its sails
The French Sherco has grown enormously in recent years. In addition to its sporting achievements, Sherco is also making commercial progress. This translates into a remarkable sales growth of its enduro and trials motorcycles. The more recent models such as the 50cc or supermotard engines are also doing well. As a result, Sherco Belgium is also doing well.
And Sherco doesn't plan to stop there. There are many projects in the pipeline at the Nimes factory to expand the range. To manage this strong growth, Philippe Vukcevic – the world's oldest importer of the brand – will be joined by his son Michael in the family business. In addition to being a high-level trials and enduro rider, Michael is also a popular personality in the off-road motorcycle world.
The Vukcevic family has also chosen to call on two company managers who are also endurists themselves! Frederic Sente (CEO of Desimone, a manufacturer of automation machines for industry) and Axel Be (Business Management Consultant, former director at D'Ieteren) will use all their management, financial and marketing experience for the further growth of Sherco Belgium. This new, expanded Sherco team will present the 2019 range on October 6 and 7 in Bray, near Binche. During the Sherco test days you can of course also get acquainted with the brand's new gems!
