Marshal Weltin continues to improve!
It is clear that Marshal Weltin feels at home on the Kawasaki. The American rode his best GP ever last week, and this weekend he manages to improve on that performance! By finishing both heats in seventh place, the F&H Racing rider becomes sixth in the daily standings in Sevlievo. Despite intensive therapy, Adam Sterry was unable to recover sufficiently to return to the start this weekend. The Brit will make his return to the Grand Prix during the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen. The victory in Bulgaria went to Jorge Prado-Garcia who also leads the championship by a wide margin.

On Saturday, Marshal qualified eighth for this GP and that gave him a good starting place. The Kawasaki rider gets off to a good start in the first moto and the American manages to come out of the first corner in eighth place. With very good steering work, two places are gained and when two drivers collide, Marshal takes fourth place. Kjer Olsen and Lawrence both have to work hard to pass the 22-year-old rider. Well into the second half of the race over 30 minutes and two laps, Lawrence managed to take over fifth place. Due to a mistake by the Leatt-clad motocross rider, Watson also passes, but seventh place is no longer out of the hands of the only F&H Racing rider.

The start of the second heat is less good, but Marshal still manages to start the race well in the group. Things get intense and contact is certainly not avoided. Despite a slide in the same place as Jonass, the first full lap is completed in seventh place. The next lap, fifth man Jacobi makes a mistake and Sandner is immediately passed. Marshal does not hold fifth place for long because Kjer Olsen quickly comes forward and passes the crosser of the South Holland team. After more than ten minutes of racing, Rodrigues is slightly faster than Marshal, who also crosses the finish line in seventh place in this heat.

The FIM World Championship continues to Turkey but without the F&H Racing Team. In Assen (15-16 September) the team is back in the paddock and so is Adam!
