Kras wins the first round, Willems third!
Without many problems Mike Kras won the first round in Sevlievo. The GL12 Racing rider led from start to finish and recorded his fourth moto win of the season. BradAnderson finished second and thus loses three points of its 24-point lead. Third place is for Erik Willems, Youri van t Ende comes seventh and Greg Smets finishes ninth.
When the starting gate goes down for the 15 riders, Kras takes the best start ahead of compatriot Van t Ende and Anderson. The leader in the standings quickly takes over second place, but he is unable to catch up with Kras. The born Rotterdammer comes out of the first round with a lead of more than two seconds. The leading position is then no longer in danger. Anderson comes second ahead of Willems who passed Van t Ende at the end of the second lap. The Ecomaxx rider then drops back to seventh place. Vaclav Kovar, the fastest man in training, comes fourth after a battle with the Italian Manuel Iacopi.
The second round will be held tomorrow morning at 8.15am, which can of course be watched LIVE via MXGP-TV!
