Kevin Strijbos remains hungry.
Both Kevin Strijbos and his Standing Construct KTM teammate Valentin Guillod did not achieve the results they hoped for in Bulgaria. In the final standings, Strijbos finished 12th, an ill Guillod finished 21st.
On Saturday Kevin qualified 12th. He missed his start but came back strongly and showed again that he is good in terms of speed. “On Sunday I didn't have the results I was hoping for. My starts were bad and on an old school circuit like Sevlievo with few lines it is not easy to make the difference. The lap times were generally very similar. My first heat wasn't great and I had difficulty finding my way around the track. Fortunately, the second series was better.” Strijbos noted via Instagram.
The Kid ultimately finished 15th and 11th, which gave him 12th place. In the MXGP standings, Strijbos is now 15th, 10 points behind Max Nagl who is 13th. For Guillod, Sevlievo became a very difficult GP. Due to health problems, he ultimately had to settle for 21st place.
