Coldenhoff disappointed with fourth place in MXGP.
Glenn Coldenhoff was not satisfied with the fourth place he managed to score during the Swiss Grand Prix. During the sixteenth GP of the season, the Brabander finished fourth and seventh, putting the KTM rider fourth in the daily rankings. “I was really disappointed after the second moto after starting the weekend well despite coming to a stop behind Jeffrey in the qualifying heat and losing my rear brake. This meant that I had to ride the entire heat without a rear brake, which meant I saw a good starting position go up in smoke. Sometimes you just have to deal with a situation like this and I think I did that in the first moto. I got a good start and rode consistently throughout the race. It was a tough race with Jeremy Seewer because the fans were completely behind him, but that was a good motivation for me to stay ahead of him. I was happy with my fourth place and I felt that today I should be able to get my first podium of the season. In the second moto there was a deep rut behind the starting gate and because I saw it too late, I had to make the best of it. I messed up my start and had to come back from around twentieth place. I overtook a lot of riders and felt good again. I came back to seventh place but I'm not happy with this because I had my sights set on the podium. Now I have finished fourth, which is a good result, but I want more. Hopefully we can take the final step towards the podium in Bulgaria.” said The Hoff.
