Will Alex Martin move to Joe Gibbs Racing?
It's pretty quiet when it comes to 'the silly transfer mill' that has only made a few rounds. This applies to both the USA and the FIM World Championship MXGP-MX2. The biggest change on the other side of the pond comes from Alex Martin. He would move to Joe Gibbs Racing to become a teammate of Jimmy DeCotis and Enzo Lopes!
Martin's spot on Team Troy Lee Design-KTM would be taken by Mitchell Faulk. The other driver composition at TLD remains the same. The same applies to Star Racing-Yamaha where all contracts are still in effect for 2019. However, there is a chance that Aaron Plessinger will switch to the YZ450F. He will most likely become Justin Barcia's teammate there. This means that Cooper Webb is leaving, he would become Marvin Musquin's teammate at KTM, according to 'radio paddock'.
Joey Savatgy is leaving Team Pro Circuit-MonsterEnergy. He has to go to the 450F class. He will most likely remain loyal to Kawasaki, Savatgy is mentioned as Eli Tomac's teammate. Josh Grant has not ridden much this year due to an injury and he might be thinking about retiring! Savatgy's place at Team PC is taken by 'rookie' Garret Marchbanks.
Everything also seems to be arranged for 2019 at Husqvarna because Jason Anderson still has an ongoing contract. He gets Zach Osborne as a teammate and Osborne is replaced by Thomas Covington!
