Lars Greekpoor shines in ADAC Youngster Cup!
Austrian Roland Edelbacher (Dimoco Europe KTM) was on the highest podium in the ADAC Youngstger Cup at the end of the day in Tensfeld. Edelbacher (3-1) thus settled the prestige duel with Jett Lawrence (1-3) in his favor. The surprise of the day, however, came from Lars Greekpoor, who finished fifth in his first ADAC race of the season!
After making his comeback in Finland, Tensfeld was the trial by fire for Miro Sihvonen. The KTM Diga Junior Racing rider passed this with flying colors. Sihvonen took the lead after winning the opener. Jett Lawrence made it through three laps before the end, but Miro had given his calling card.
In the second moto Sihvonen took his second holeshot of the day. However, Miro did not have the right feeling with his suspension and had to drop the pace. After the young Rene Hofer took the lead for a few laps, it was ultimately Edelbacher who had the longest breath. Lars Greekpoort made a great start in a very solid race. After 25 minutes plus two laps, the 19-year-old driver from Nieuw-Vennep finished sixth! None of the other lowlanders, Bryan Engele, Jarni Kooij, Dani De Vries and Nolan Cordens, scored.
