Jake Nicholls upholds European honor in Red Bud
Jake Nicholls ended his GP career last season to fully focus on racing in his own country. Last weekend, however, the sympathetic Briton left British territory for round 7 of the Lucas oil pro motocross championship in Red Bud, America. On this challenging course, Nicholls managed to bravely defend himself against all the American violence, and finished in 9th and 13th place in the heats in a respectable 10th place. Once again proof of the speed that the Briton certainly has, as he still managed to stay ahead of renowned names such as Benny Bloss, Eli Tomac and Justin Bogle in the day's results. Unfortunately for Nicholls, this will remain a one-off appearance for the time being, and he will simply return to Dave Thorpe's Buildbase Honda team.
