IMBA: British force in Krasny Dvur.
The competition for the 'IMBA Open' class got off to a false start. In Czech Krasny Dvur the start of the first heat was delayed by half an hour due to an accident in an earlier race. Once started, the first heat was shortened to one lap due to an accident in which the German Alex Farkas was taken to a hospital. After the restart, a true British invasion followed. In both heats the first four places were occupied by British motocross riders. It was finally James Dodd who became the winner of the day with two heat victories. Compatriot Paul Neale finished second in the overall standings with a second and third place in the heats. Jos Waterman completed the British podium with a second and fourth place in the heats. He continued with this Shane Carless (GB) for. The best non-British was the Belgian Jonas Salaets with fifth place in the daily rankings. Jeremy George (Bel) achieved ninth place. This left him the only Dutchman Niels de Klein before finishing tenth in the daily rankings. The third round was no longer held due to the previous accidents and the resulting lack of time.
Carless remains in the lead in the European Championship standings. He is followed by Dodd by one point. Saleats is in fourth place, one point behind Waterman. He is followed by the fourth Briton in the European Championship standings: Paul Neale. In ninth place, De Klein is just ahead of Joris, who completes the top ten.
