Successful Motocross Junior Days in Lille!
Last Thursday, the second training day of the Motorcross Junior Days, a collaboration between the BMB and KTM/Husqvarna, took place at the Breugelheide in Lille. Here, 57 young people, from novices to experienced riders, were able to work on their riding technique under the expert guidance of BMB youth coach Yves Devlaminck, KTM sports manager Joel Smets and former world champion Steve Ramon.
It was a beautiful sunny day in Lille but fortunately not overly hot, ideal motocross weather! MC Lille had prepared the circuit perfectly, not a bit of dust. Congratulations! In the morning there was fitness training with the mountain bike and in the afternoon the young people took to the track with their KTM/Husqvarna 65cc/85cc machines. Due to the great success, 4 groups were eventually trained, 2 of which were on the circuit. Various exercises, position on the motorcycle, footrest position, etc. were discussed.
After the various sessions, everyone returned home with a smile, tired and satisfied. We are already counting down to the next and final internship on August 30 in Genk. Thanks to Jef Leysen and his team from MC Lille, KTM and Husqvarna Belgium, the coaches, Robert and Magda and BMB Motocross coordinator, Octaaf Goeman for their cooperation!
