Calvin Vlaanderen wins, Jago Geerts as leader to the last round!
Despite his ankle injury, championship leader Jago Geerts managed to limit the damage in the first 250cc round in Lichtenvoorde. Geerts came third after Kevin Horgmo and Calvin Vlaanderen. With his victory, Flanders keeps his chances good for the final race. The Honda factory rider now has eight points less than Jago Geerts…
In the first heat Sander Agard-Michelsen takes the best start ahead of Yoeri van 't Ende and Kevin Horgmo. CreyMert Racing can quickly catch up with its compatriot in the lead. After three rounds Horgmo takes over and distances himself. Flanders and Geerts pass Van 't Ende and Agard-Michelsen. The Honda rider needs some time to connect with Horgmo. Things then move quickly and in the second half of the match Flanders takes the lead. Horgmo comes in second ahead of Geerts. Fourth place goes to Yamaha rider Agard-Michelsen and the American Covington comes fourth.
