ADAC: Raivo Dankers wins in Tensfeld
It was a great day for the Dutch riders in Tensfeld. Raivo Dankers won his 4th series of the ADAC MX Junior Cup. Thanks to a victory in the second race, Dankers also became the overall winner. In the first series Raivo had to let the Swede Filip Olsson ahead.
Raf Meuwissen (3-6) climbed onto the podium again in Tensfeld. In the standings, Raf is now 15 points behind Olsson. Although he missed the previous competition due to the Zwarte Cross, Raivo Dankers has now risen to third place. F4E Racing's Mario Lucas has been missing happiness and regularity lately. Today “Elvis” performed consistently. With a 7th and 5th place he finished fourth overall.
Dutch 125cc champion Emil Weckman also performed very well today. The fast Finn faced an unpleasant disqualification in the first heat. Weckman was ruled out due to a refueling after the reconnaissance lap. For a long time, however, Weckman seemed to get his kicks in the revival. The KTM Diga Junior rider made a strong start and led for a long time, but eventually had to bow his head to Dankers. Brian van der Klij reached the top 10 in the daily rankings, just like in Fürstlich Drehna.
