René Albers takes 24MX NK victory in Elshout.
René Albers (Groesbeek) won the MX open inter class during competitions in Elshout. On the circuit at the Dekkersweg, the van de Laar Racing rider achieved second and first place in the heats. Jarno Derks (Altforst) managed to win the first heat and with second place in the second heat he became second in the daily rankings. Home rider Jacky Tausch (Elshout) managed to stay ahead of Joshua van der Linden (Veen) in the battle for third place with a fourth and third place in the heats.
In the MX2 inters the race was won by Maikel van Balen (Elshout). Van Balen won both heats. Lakerveld racing rider Mack Bouwense (Gouda) achieved second place in the daily rankings with a fourth and second place in the heats. He thus stayed ahead of Michel Otten (Weert), who twice finished third.
The field of participants in the quads inters was strongly influenced by the coincidence with the ONK / NK quads in Den Dungen. Only Ruben van Lith (Uden) and Rob Aarts (Bladel) opted for the race in Elshout. Van Lith won both heats.
There was also a small starting field for the sidecar inters. Victory went to Cor de Laat (Made) / Lars de Laat (Wagenberg) with a first and second place in the heats. Second place went to Frans van Rooij (Bel) / Haske Maas (Someren) and third were Bram van Dijk (Meijel) / Loet van der Putten (Handel). Patrick Greup (Bergharen) / Maurice Visser (Hattem) managed to win the second heat, but a failure in the first heat left them fourth and last in the daily rankings
