Martin Zerava beats favorite Mickael Pichon.
No third FIM World title for this Michael Pichon, the Frenchman was unable to live up to his role as favorite during the FIM VETS World Cup. The victory went to Martin Zerava, he wins this title for the third time. The Czech managed both rounds on the circuit Matterley Basin, near Winchester, to his name. Pichon (2-2) finished second ahead of the Finn Niko Kalatie (3-3). With two neat seventh places Ronny Vanhove also seventh in the rankings. The Dutch Jeroen Roijakkers (15th) and Bart Schoonebeek (20th) also managed to score points for this championship.
