Mark Boot to EMX250 in Lommel!
One of the reasons why we are so looking forward to GPs in the Netherlands or Belgium are of course the wildcard riders. At the same time as the Belgian GP, the EMX250 riders will also be in action in Lommel. Among them also Mikkola Racing's Mark Boot! The reigning Belgian MX2 champion will compete among the four-stroke force on his trusted two-stroke.
The decision is made. The experienced Zeelander had been toying with the idea for a while, but it is now certain that he will also appear at the start in Lommel. The current leader at the BMB Inters 250 has always been a sandman and he is looking forward to competing in good shape among the big boys.
Mark Boat: “The first goal is of course to qualify myself. I know that it will be an assignment in itself to be there, but in any case we will do our best! I think you can tell from the results this season, but I really feel very good on the two-stroke. And it also gives you courage to give it a try because it is a sand competition. Getting on a four-stroke especially for this one race was not an option. I'm really looking forward to riding in the EMX250 in Lommel!”
Mark would like to thank his sponsors - who make some things possible -: “Houthandel Reimerswaal, my team MC Mikkola, MX477, CPB Motoren and Peter Maes.
