Jeffrey Dewulf is back at the party in MCLB!
The weekly MCLB meeting took place this weekend in Tielt, with 23 pilots in the Inters category attending! The usual names supplemented with Jeffrey Dewulf.
It was certainly one of these common names, namely Wietse Brackman who managed to take the holeshot. The Leon Sagaert Husqvarna pilot immediately took off at a devastating pace. Jeffrey Dewulf, who had “only” started sixth, first had to work on Junior Decouter, Jurgen Wybo, Torpjurn van Hoe and Kevin Fors, who started before him. Once he arrived in second position, the KTM pilot started chasing Wietse Brackman. The latter managed to position himself in front of Jeffrey Dewulf for two thirds of the race until he passed him in the tenth lap. Jeffrey Dewulf won the first round ahead of Wietse Brackman and Jurgen Wybo who, on his MX2 machine, managed to stay ahead of Kevin Fors and Torpjurn van Hoe!
In the second moto we had a similar story. Wietse Brackman again with the holeshot and Jeffrey Dewulf again with a slightly worse start. Now the West Flemish Dewulf did not waste much time and already took over the lead in round four to advance to victory ahead of Wietse Brackman in second and Kevin Fors in third. Jurgen Wybo and Jorne Tytgat completed the top 5 in the second heat.
In the 450 class, the day's victory logically went to Jeffrey Dewulf with his double series victory, Wietse Brackman in second place and Kevin Fors in third place on the day's podium. In the MX2 class the victory went to Jurgen Wybo and in the Inters B class Damon Tanghe took the upper hand from Michiel Vercauteren and Nicky Vermoesen.
