Jed Beaton to Rockstar Energy Husqvarna?
This past weekend, Rockstar Energy Husvarna rider Thomas Covington confirmed that he will compete in the US for the factory Husqvarna team next season. According to various sources in the paddock, Covington would be replaced by Jed Beaton in Jacky Martens' team. Beaton, in his first full GP season in MX2 for F&H Racing Team, made a big impression in the first half of the race until he broke his leg and ankle in Matterley Basin.
The 20-year-old Australian would thus become the teammate of Thomas-Kjer Olsen, who is still under contract with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna in 2019. Beaton was sixth in the World Championship standings until his injury. In Portugal he achieved his second GP podium of his career.
