HOT NEWS: Nick Triest stops!
He announced it himself this morning on Facebook. Nick Triest is calling it quits after an 18-year career as a motorsports enthusiast. Last weekend Nick won in Lille. This year Triest was active in Switzerland where he regularly played at the front.
The combination of work and sport is no longer feasible for Nick. With his own business, training and preparing equipment, racing as he wanted was impossible. Triest won two Belgian MX2 titles, won three times in the Coupe de l'Avenir with Team Belgium and reached the podium twice in the European MX of Nations with the Belgian team. He also made a trip to the Belgian enduro where he competed for Beta. Nick was a factory rider for Husqvarna-Ricci Racing and rode for André Massant's Shineray team for a long time. From now on, motocross is only a hobby, without competition obligations.
Thank you in advance for the many wonderful years, Nick, and good luck with everything you undertake!
