David Segers wins MCLB in Aspelare
Aspelare, where the weekly MCLB Motocross took place this weekend. Now with a chance that they will sound negative, we found that there were only thirteen Inters at the appointment.
No Ken De Dycker, Jeffrey Dewulf or Jurgen Wybo, who all moved to Plomion, France. Damon Graulus was back at work in Australia and Junior Decouter was literally at work. Oh and Wietse Brackman who chose to participate in the Belgian Jet Ski Championship.
All that made it very easy for David Segers, the Standing Construct pilot, who missed BK points last week because he wanted to compete in Kester. Won both heats. In the first moto the man on KTM managed to dominate the race from lead to finish. This for Jorne Tytgat and Kenny Dult.
During the second heat things were made a little more difficult for him. The pilots Mark Boot, Dimitri Sep and Kenny Dult who started before him offered resistance, but just before the halfway point of the race it was David Segers who managed to take over the lead in the race from Mark Boot. This man from Zeeuws-Vlaanderen managed to maintain his second place ahead of Jorne Tytgat. Dimitri Sep, who started strongly, fell back to seventh place.
In the overall result of Aspelare, the victory with his two victories logically went to David Segers. Jorne Tytgat and Kenny Dult were allowed on stage with him. In the MX2, the victory went to Hensons Lievens who scored an excellent 5th and 6th place overall, a pity that this young man was the only MX2 pilot present, while VMCF had a cancellation, you know, in an ideal world! In the Inters B class the victory went to Damon Tanghe!
