Thomas Sileika sustains a serious hand injury!
In the run-up to the Latvian race of the European 250cc Championship Thomas Sileika suffered a serious fall. The WZ-Racingdriver suffered a serious hand injury in this crash. The right hand was broken in four places and a fracture in the wrist was also found. The KTM rider has now been under the knife and will be out of action for about four months! After the match in Russia, the Latvian was in seventeenth place in the standings with two top ten finishes. It is double bad luck for the German WZ Racing that already Jerre Havisto was shut down for a long period of time.
