Satisfied but still hungry for points.
In Teutschenthal the Galvin MX Team failed to score during the fourth race of the European 125cc Championship. With a 25th and 30th place, Cameron Durow (photo) remained outside the points. His teammate Rob van de Veerdonk did not qualify. The competition near Leipzig was won by the Italian Mattia Guadagnini. The Austrian Rene Hofer remains the leader in the standings.
On Saturday morning, both drivers failed to qualify directly. Four more riders advanced to the main program through the last chance. Cameron came third and was therefore able to take action. After a long start, Rob had to make too many meters to the first corner to start the race in the koo group. The rider from Lith finished 26th and therefore did not qualify. The 15-year-old Husqvarna rider had an educational weekend and expects to be able to use this experience again in France.
Cameron had to go to the starting gate in 39th place and therefore did not have a good starting position. The starts were good but the riders on the inside were earlier in the first corner. The South African finished 25th and 30th, so he still has to be patient for his first points in this strong championship.
Next game:
The championship will continue in France in three weeks. Then both riders in the colors of GPR Promo hope to improve their performance this weekend.
