Kay de Wolf wins despite brother's crash!
During the training sessions Harfsen a motocross rider crashed hard and his motorcycle was hit by Raff the Wolf. His big brother saw it happen and was of course shocked! The first heat was particularly tough because Kay (The Wolf) it was not clear how his brother was doing. Still, the Team Beursfoon rider managed to finish second. When it became known later in the afternoon that the injured rider was doing well under the circumstances, De Wolf managed to win the second heat and thus the daily classification. In the 125cc the victory went to Rick Elzinga, he managed to cross the finish line as winner both times. It was the Yamaha rider's first race after breaking both wrists in Mantova, Italy, in February.
