Keeno and Graulus distribute marbles in MCLB Oostrozebeke!
This weekend the weekly MCLB competition was held in Oostrozebeke, with Ken De Dycker and Damon Graulus participating again this weekend. Both former Grand Prix pilots seem to have a taste for talking about MCLB competitions!
It should therefore not surprise you that in the first heat the crowd that showed up drove Ken De Dycker to victory. This was for Damon Graulus, who, after a poor start, raced past many pilots to eventually outpace Wietse Brackman in the duel for second place, who finished third. The top five in this first heat was completed by Kevin Fors in fourth place and Jorne Tytgat in fifth place.
In the second moto we saw a better start for Damon Graulus. This gave us an interesting duel between Damon Graulus, Ken De Dycker and Wietse Brackman, who started in the lead. The latter saw that the pace of the two semi-pros was just a little too high for him and decided to give it his money's worth. Which gave us Damon Graulus against Ken De Dycker. Ken De Dycker took the lead in the series, but not for long because Damon Graulus took over just before the halfway point of the race. Keeno managed to hook up with the Suzuki pilot Graulus, but passing him was no longer an option for the Brabander. Damon Graulus won the race ahead of Ken De Dycker and Kevin Fors who managed to beat Wietse Brackman in the last round. Fifth place was just like in the first heat for Jorne Tytgat.
Because the total victory in the MCLB, in the event of a tie, is calculated based on time, Ken De Dycker won the Oostrozebeke race ahead of Damon Graulus and Wietse Brackman. Kevin Fors and Jorne Tytgat complete the top five. In the MX2 class, the day's victory went to good old Jurgen Wybo with an eighth and tenth place overall. At the Inters B, Michiel Vercauteren was on the highest platform.
