EMX: Viemero wins, Mesters is the new leader.
In Vantaa has Eelis Viemero won the second race of the North-West 65cc European Championship. The Finn finished first and second, taking the day's victory Bradley Masters (3-1) and the Czech Vitezslav Marek (2-5). In the standings, the Husqvarna rider (photo) takes the lead from Lotte van Drunen. This fast lady managed to win the first race last month, now she finished eighth in both heats. Damien Knuiman managed to finish fourth in the daily rankings. The Dutch Gyan Doensen (15-10), Mick Kennedy (18-13), Ray van Gelder (11-21) and Charlie van Nieuwland (33-14) also managed to score in Finland. This 'championship' will come to the Netherlands on July 7-8, when the last selection competition will be held markelo.
