Dankers scores fourth place in EMX125 in Germany.
Raivo Dankers from RD10 has to compete in the fourth game European Championship 125cc in German Teutschenthal managed to achieve a top five place. The rider from Heesch performed strongly in the second heat by crossing the finish line in fourth place on the treacherous circuit. He had a bad start in the first moto, but fought his way back from twentieth place to thirteenth.
After his top three place in Latvia, Dankers was keen to score high in Germany as well. On the circuit that was still super fast in training, he did everything he could to set a good time. He started several times and ended up with a decent fifth time. This ensured that he could choose an ideal starting position in both heats.
In the first moto he got off to a very bad start and had to come back from the back of the field. The rider from Heesch was in nineteenth place after a number of laps, but fought for what he was worth and managed to come back to thirteenth position.
After his thirteenth place in the first moto, he had a much better start in the second moto and joined the battle for the top five places. For a long time he rode in sixth place at the tail of the leading group, but after a strong final shot he managed to gain two more places and crossed the finish line in fourth.
With the good result in the second heat, he still finished in eighth place in the daily rankings and has therefore risen to sixth place in the standings for the European Championship. Next weekend Dankers will start in the second match of the ADAC 125 Cup in Molln, a competition in which he is currently in the lead.
