Cyril Genot is back in Kegums
A strong seventh place in the second round and an eighth place overall during the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Mill proved that Cyril Genot is back again. The 18-year-old Belgian would normally ride the EMX250 championship as a private pilot. Due to a broken collarbone he suffered in January, Cyril will only start his European Championship campaign in Kegums this weekend.
In any case, the Latvian GP should suit sand specialist Genot. Things also went well for the KTM rider at the ONK in Mill because he won a round. “I'm feeling better and better on the bike and I'm especially happy that I can ride again. Since Kegums will be my first EMX250 race of the season, it is difficult to estimate what to expect.” Last year Cyril rode for Falcon KTM in Germany, this year he will compete for his own Genot Racing Team, with support from Dam racing. In 2015 Cyril reached the EMX125 podium in Valkenswaard after Miro Sihvonen and Jorge Prado.
