MX2: Simone Furlotti finally behind the starting gate!
The last six months have Simon Furlotti had two serious injuries. During the Swiss GP he suffered a shoulder injury that forced him to miss the EMX250 final. Before the race in Villars Sous Ecot, the Yamaha rider was still 26 points behind compatriot Morgen Lesiardo. The title went to Lesiardo as Furlotti prepared for his final MX2 World Championship season. During these preparations, the 23-year-old Furlotti suffered a wrist injury that caused him to miss the first three Grand Prix. So he is back at the start in Arco di Trento.
