MCLB: Mini GP in Sinaai with Dewulf as winner!
Yesterday a competition for the MCLB federation was held in Sinaai, or as the locals call it “Snaaj”. The organization could count on a very nice field of participants at the Inters, including Ken De Dycker, Jeffrey Dewulf, Kevin Fors and Damon Graulus, but also Dylan Verleysen, Jurgen Wybo, David Segers and the other usual MCLB pilots! Jurgen Wybo called it with a wink the Mini GP of Sinaai!
In the first moto we saw Ken De Dycker take the holeshot, but the Brabander was quickly relegated to second place by Jeffrey Dewulf. He saw his opportunity and steamed through to victory in this heat. After some struggles with, among others, Jurgen Wybo and Torpjurn Van Hoe, Ken De Dycker managed to hold on to second place to finish. Third place went to Damon Graulus who, after a very bad start, managed to drive himself to third place. As a result, he finished ahead of Kevin Fors in fourth and David Segers in fifth.
The second moto started better for Damon Graulus. The Suzuki pilot started second and was immediately able to duel with Ken De Dycker who managed to take the holeshot. Both gentlemen provided more than just the show. With a few laps to go, Damon Graulus managed to outwit his friend and former teammate Ken De Dycker and take over the lead. Keeno had to slow down due to sagging pants and came in at a good distance in second. This goes to Jeffrey Dewulf who managed to move from last place to third place. This was without a doubt one of the more beautiful races in the race itself! The top five was completed by Kevin Fors and Jorne Tytgat!
Because total victories at the MCLB are calculated on time, the day's victory in Sinaai went to Jeffrey Dewulf with a first and third place. This for Damon Graulus with a third and first place and Ken De Dycker with two second places! In the MX2 class, victory went to good old Jurgen Wybo with seventh and tenth places. Both times he was the first MX2 pilot in the series! In the International B the victory went to Tallon Verhelst. The full results can be consulted on Speedhive.
