VIDEO: Bobryshev makes history for BOS!
In contrast to the factory riders, Evgeny Bobryshev had an anything but ideal World Cup preparation. Yet Bobby performed more than decently in Argentina. The BOS GP rider finished 12th overall and was the only Suzuki rider in the field.
It had long looked like Bobryshev would ride few or no MXGP races. Due to his involvement in the British Arenacross, the Russian had few MX test hours behind him anyway. In terms of physical fitness and driving, Evgeny was on the roll call. His neat 9th place in the second round was certainly impressive in a field with so many factory riders. The 19 points that the BOS GP pilot brought home were the first in the history of the new French team.
Bobryshev said: “In terms of power there is clearly still work to be done, but the suspension performed very well. I'm really looking forward to Valkenswaard!”
