PR: Beaton takes best result of the season.
Under very different weather conditions compared to last week, Jed Beaton improved his best performance of the season. In Argentina the Australian managed to score 27 World Cup points, and at the Redsand MX Park the 20-year-old motocross rider won 28 World Cup points! Adam Sterry (10-14) finished eleventh in the daily rankings and Ruben Fernández-Garcia (19-12) finished fifteenth in front of his own audience! The victory went to Pauls Jonass, he again won both heats!
Of the F&H Racing Team trio, Jed comes out on top. He manages to finish the first full lap in eighth place. After four laps, Kjer Olsen passes and a little later Bernardini makes a mistake, after which the Leatt-clad rider regains eighth place. He then manages to hold on to this until the finish flag. Adam did not have a very good start, which meant he finished the first round in sixteenth position. The Brit manages to work his way forward in a controlled manner and enters the top ten after twenty minutes of the race. He still tries to track down Bernardini, but he barely manages to stay out of the Kawasaki rider's grasp. Ruben started the race just outside the top ten and lost some places after about ten minutes due to a slide. This drops the Spaniard back to 20th place, but a nice final sprint gives him another spot with two laps to go. Ruben turns nineteenth.
In the second moto Adam gets off to a great start and is able to come out of the first corner in fifth position. However, due to a mistake, the Arai-supported rider crashes twice, causing him to drop back to thirtieth place. Just like the first moto, Jed started the race well and finished sixth in the first round. He follows fellow countryman Lawrence throughout the race, but it is not possible to make up a position. Jed finished sixth very well and that is his best performance of this season! Ruben finished outside the top ten in the race over 30 minutes and two laps. The 19-year-old rider can make a good impression and briefly takes tenth place. A little later Watson passes and in the final phase Brylyakov is also a bit too strong. Ruben crosses the finish line in twelfth place and Adam managed to cross the finish line in fourteenth thanks to a super catch-up race!
Next game:
