EMX250: Major disappointment for Tristan Charboneau.
A major setback for Tristan Charboneau en SDM-DP19 Racing. The American returns to his home country to undergo knee surgery. The Yamaha rider suffered a knee injury during the Italian Championship race in Ottobiano. An MRI scan revealed that there is a tear in a knee ligament and that a piece of the meniscus has broken off. That piece wanders around in the knee and causes a lot of pain!
“I am returning to America to have my knee repaired and I hope to be back as soon as possible. I don't want to come back until my knee is 100 percent done. When I come back I want to win matches and not play in midfield," says Charboneau, who won two matches last year and finished fifth in the final standings.
