Benoit Paturel's new motorcycle!
In Lacapelle-Marival he rode anonymously in black on a private Honda. From this weekend in Sommières, Benoit Paturel will be in his new colors. The MXGP rookie Paturel will compete against Fabien Izoird, Xavier Boog, Greg Aranda and Jeremy Delincé in the international race of Sommières.
After a (very) early break with Bos GP, Paturel opted for his own project. The intention is to compete in the European GPs and put themselves in the spotlight. Benoit has a relationship with the well-known parts and clothing distributor Bhr immediately a solid partner. In this way, Paturel can count on a range of top brands such as Dunlop, Yoshumire, Answer Racing, Bell and Twin Air, which are distributed by Bihr.
In addition to the support of Bihr, the ex-Kemea Yamaha rider can count on the technical support of Bud Racing and the local Honda dealer 7 space from Limoges, France. Also Steven Frossard has stepped into the breach as a coach/supervisor. More than a real team, it is a tailor-made project that was set up to help Paturel further. If there is an interesting proposal to fill in, Benoit will be given the opportunity by his partners to take advantage of this. At least if it is a serious proposal with perspective. So to be continued!
Striking detail: Paturel itself does not mention the Honda brand name anywhere!
By the way, what do you think of Benoit's “Blackmachine”?
