Giraud and Mucenieks won the first heat in Oss.
Valentin Giraud and Elvijs Mucenieks won the first heat during the Dutch GP. Willemsen/Bax came second at the Oss circuit. The ten-time champion was able to keep Giraud in his sights for a long time, but after they were held up, Giraud could no longer be caught. The well-riding Vanluchene/Van den Boogaart came in third, with Hermans/Musset and Veldman/Van der Putten behind them. Etienne Bax and Kaspars Stupelis had a poor start and had a great catch-up race until the combination rolled over on the fast part at the back of the circuit.
Bax is now on his way to the hospital with a shoulder injury and the current world champion will no longer be in action in the second heat!
