Damon Graulus wins MCLB debut in Oosteeklo
He came, saw and conquered! Newcomer Damon Graulus emerged as the man to beat in Oosteeklo in both heats. By force majeure, Damon won the two series each time for Wietse Brackman. Reigning MX1 champion David Segers finished third.
Many MCLB leaders such as Jurgen Wybo, Maarten Govaert and Junior Decouter (still) missed the muddy Oosteeklo. They will make an appearance next weekend when the Inters Championship starts in Beernem. As a result, only 10 Inters started yesterday.
Wietse Brackman was “best of the rest” twice
In Oosteeklo you could not ignore the fact that MX Planet Transport Vijverman Suzuki rider Damon Graulus was clearly the fastest man every time. Wietse Brackman also had no difficulty in recognizing this, while David Segers was happy with two solid rounds after his health problems. In the MX2 Henson Lievens was the best.
Multiple national MX2 champion Graulus had also enjoyed himself in Oosteeklo: “A super fun day, great and good organization and a good result to end the day. I'm already looking forward to the next MCLB game. Thank you everyone for making this possible. And thanks to a number of supporters I spotted while driving. Hopefully there will be more in the future!”
