WMX: Britt van der Werff's season already over!
The season of Britt van der Werff is over before the starting gate falls. The Brabant native suffered a painful knee during training last year. After examinations and an MRI scan, the pain was attributed to a bruise. After a break, the 20-year-old lady got back on the motorcycle but the pain in the knee had still not disappeared. After examination in Belgium, it turned out that the anterior cruciate ligament had torn and the outer cruciate ligament was unstable. Van der Werff has now undergone surgery for this, but the recovery will take at least six months.
