Strong start for Davy Pootjes in Hawkstone Park
Davy Pootjes (LRT-KTM) has started the season strongly in the British Hawkstone Park. The rider from Ammerzoden rode in the top three for a long time in both heats and led the second heat. Both times a crash caused him to lose a few places and he finished in sixth place in both the first and second heats.
Davy Paws: “In the first moto I was in third place for a long time until a straggler fell in front of me on the last lap. I can't avoid him anymore and I also fell, ending up sixth! In the second moto I took the holeshot and was in the lead for a long time. Unfortunately, I crashed after ten minutes and ended up sixth again. I am satisfied with my driving and the team is functioning perfectly.”
In the coming weeks, Davy will continue his preparation for the first Grand Prix on March 4 in Argentina!

2. Thomas Kjer Olsen 42 Points
