The third and final match of the Italian championship was overshadowed by the nasty fall of Tim Gajser. Fortunately, there was much more than that incident. Cairoli secured the title and Jeremy Van Horebeek took bronze in the final standings in both the MX1 and Elite. There were also great performances for Roan Van de Moosdijk and the Husqvarna debut of Brent Van Doninck.
