Arenacross Hasselt postponed to November 2018
The European round of the Arenacross Tour, originally scheduled for March 3 in Hasselt's Ethias Arena, has been postponed until November 2018.
The successful British Arenacross formula has grown year after year. Thousands of fans come to Britain's most beautiful arenas to enjoy the fast-paced action and spectacular show. Also sporty Arena cross UK the wind in the sails. The best European MX and SX riders found their way to the championship while the FMX riders are the absolute world top. The past championship, which concluded last weekend in Wembley, was the most exciting and highest ever. The best European SX rider of the moment, Cedric Soubeyras took the title ahead of his compatriots Thomas Ramette and Charles Le François.
It was therefore a logical step for the promoter to also bring this format to new overseas locations. However, despite the efforts of the entire team, the events planned for Belgium and Germany have yet to reach the level that Arenacross UK has built up on the other side of the North Sea. That is why Arena Sports Live now wants to put everything in order and make adjustments to create an even stronger event later in 2018.
Matt Bates from Arena Sports Live, the promoter of the AX Tour said: “It's never a fun decision to make. Luckily, in our five year history of Arenacross in the UK, we have never had to do this. The simple fact is that we cannot organize an event with the extremely high production level of Arenacross if the audience is not there yet. All members of the AX team support our plans 100% to make the championship a success abroad. HAlthough this is a setback, it is only temporary. “
Anyone who already has tickets for the Belgian round of the Arenacross Tour will be pleased to know that these are fully transferable to the new date. However, if you have any questions, please contact Teleticketservice.
