2017 another top year for Kawasaki!
The off-road market is only a part of the entire motorcycle industry. Still, it is interesting to see what is happening in terms of sales throughout the sector! After a strong 2016, 2017 was another fantastic year for Kawasaki in the Netherlands. For almost the entire season (until October 2017), Kawasaki was proudly number one in terms of sales. After that, most 2017 models were sold out. BMW finally overtook Kawasaki in the nick of time.
A satisfied one Tjeerd W. Meppelink, Marketing & PR Officer Benelux looks back: “With an enormous growth of 22,9%, Kawasaki has once again been the fastest growing brand of the larger brands in 2017. Kawasaki has now achieved this for four years in a row! With the most motorcycle news for the coming season, it is expected that Kawasaki will definitively become the largest motorcycle brand in the Netherlands in 2018. As the most successful premium Japanese motorcycle brand, Kawasaki is looking forward to 2018!”
In addition to the 450 outdoor title of So Tomac Kawa achieved great sporting success in the AMA in 2017 with the SBK world title of MX enthusiast Jonathan Rhea. Meanwhile, his third world title in a row!
