Tyler Bowers shows his best on Friday in Chemnitz SX!
On the first night of the second round of the ADAC Supercross Championship, in Chemnitz, the victory went to Tyler Bowers! The multiple AMA Arenacross champion, who we also know from a stint with Mitch Payton's legendary Pro Circuit Kawasaki team, made a solid start, but had to allow Charles LeFrancois to take the holeshot and finish the first few laps in the lead. However, Charles LeFrancois' candle burned out quickly, and once in the rhythm, Tyler Bowers could no longer be stopped, not even by Charles LeFrancois. The American in number 69 took the lead and increased his lead lap after lap by mastering the whoops like a true emperor. After twenty laps he arrived with a lead of just under five seconds over LeFrancois. In third place we found a fellow countryman of LeFrancois, namely Sullivan Jaulin. The top five was completed by Filip Neugebauer and Dominique Thury.
In the SX2 class we saw Frenchman Nicolas Barcelo take the holeshot. After a few laps, the Kawasaki pilot was joined by Spaniard Ilker Larranaga and his Diga-Procross Husqvarna teammates Adrien Malaval and Dylan Walsh. However, New Zealander Walsh made a mistake and moments later Barcelo would also do the same. In the meantime, Primuses of the race Ilker Larranaga and Adrien Malaval prepared for a duel. A duel that reached its climax in the last round with a few attempts by Adrien Malaval, but the Spaniard Ilker Larranaga did not flinch and took the victory with less than a second lead. The podium was completed by Julian Lebeau.
