Dominant performance from Larranaga and Bowers in Chemnitz!
On the second day of the ADAC Supercross in Chemnitz, we were looking forward to seeing what yesterday's laureates could achieve. What was Tyler Bowers able to achieve on day two and was there anyone who felt called to put one straw in his way?!
The answer: Someone stood up briefly, or was it Tyler Bowers who also gave the other something? In short, Boris Maillard took the holeshot, but after crossing the finish line for the second time, the American Kawasaki pilot Bowers was already in the lead. A place that suited him well and that he held on with a firm hand until the end. Behind this man of the weekend and new king of Chemnitz, Frenchman Boris Maillard saw Harri Kullas passing by. The Finnish Estonian in turn claimed second place ahead of Suzuki pilot Boris Maillard. The top 5 was completed by Charles Lefrancois and home driver Dominique Thury.
In the SX2 class, Iker Larranaga has been the sky-high favorite for the title since the start of the championship in Stuttgart. The pilot who is also active in the MX2 World Championship is trying to add color to his season after a failed World Championship with these ADAC SX Competitions! Something in which he succeeded wonderfully, because after the race on Friday, the Spaniard also managed to win the SX2 final on Saturday in Chemnitz. However, it was German Paul Haberland who took the holeshot, but Diga-Procross Husqvarna pilot Larranaga soon managed to squeeze past the German. What followed was a true demonstration by a young man who showed that he can ride a motorcycle more than competently! Paul Haberland and Lucas Impert crossed the line, well behind. The men and boys who could make things somewhat difficult for Iker Larranaga on Friday missed their start completely today and Saturday and never featured in the play.
