Jeremy Seewer with Wilvo Yamaha until 2019
Yamaha Motor Europe today announced a two-year deal with two-time MX2 vice-world champion Jeremy Seewer. This gives Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP a strong three-man team. In addition to Seewer, Shaun Simpson and Arnaud Tonus also play for the Dutch top team.
Due to the unexpected closure of the Suzuki World MXGP team, with which the Swiss still had a two-year agreement, he had to look for another team. After four successful seasons in MX2, in which he led a total of 110 laps, won fourteen races - including the qualifying races - and 5 GP victories and took no fewer than 26 podium places, Seewer is one of the most promising riders to switch to MXGP. Jeremy will join the other Wilvo Yamaha riders to continue his preparation for the new season in France.
