2017 Throwback: Mike Kras
For Mike Kras, 2017 was a year with mixed feelings, and especially for MXMag, in this fun interview, Mike looks back and forward to everything 2017 brought him, and what 2018 will hopefully bring.
-2017 is almost over, how do you look back on the past year?
Mike Kras: With mixed feelings. The positive is that I became British 2-stroke champion, but the downside is that I could not extend my emx300 title. It could have been there, but then we get to the what ifs, and through this, and through that, but I prefer to look forward rather than backward.
-What is your best memory of 2017?
Mike Kras: After 2x 2nd place, finally the victory in the sand of Lommel. While I wasn't 100% fit, as I knew things weren't right in my blood. My experience in the sand and the motivation was enough to finally take that victory in Lommel.
-what would you like to take from the past year to 2018?
Mike Kras: Commitment. I am not an additional participant in the emx300. I come to win.
-Do you already know what 2018 will look like for you on a sporting level?
Mike Kras: Pretty much the same as this year, back in the emx300 and the british 2 stroke championship for GL12 KTM racing
-What are your resolutions for 2018?
Mike Kras: Stay healthy, travel through Europe with Indya. And when the gate falls, I give 100% of myself
